The drawing process consists of a cold plastic deformation of the steel. The raw material, called wire rod, is prepared superficially with a chemical and thermal treatment (pickling and patenting) before undergoing a gradual reduction of section with special drawing machines. The quality of the materials used, the use of advanced technologies, the strict control procedures applied throughout the production process allow us to make a high quality performance thread.

RAW MATERIAL
Our main suppliers are exclusively European ISO 9001 certified Steelworks.
A warehouse of raw materials from Ton. 8.000 guarantees the flexibility and reliability of the product and delivery times. All the raw material is subject to a strict quality control on entry.
CHEMICAL TREATMENT
Pickling
Preparation process of the raw material managed by a completely automated plant for the respect of time and procedures in phosphating and washing baths.
The obtained coating allows the material to be drawn with the support of adequate lubricants.
THERMICAL TREATMENT
Patenting
Isothermal treatment of the raw material which consists of austenitizing heating followed by cooling carried out in lead baths.
The treatment aims to obtain particularly fine pearlitic steel structures and a homogeneity of the mechanical characteristics of the steel.
