OUR HISTORY
From 1920
Passion has no age
It was 1920 when the founder Carlo Ponziani opened the second Italian wire drawing factory in Lecco, specializing in the production of high carbon steel wire for the production of springs.
Its entrepreneurial ability and a constant search for technological innovation allowed the company to achieve important qualitative and commercial goals, imposing itself in just a few years on the entire national market.
In the 1960s he was succeeded by his son Emanuele, who collected the values of the past and transferred the production unit in Sirone (LC).
The new technologies, the renewal of all the systems and a deep knowledge of the product allowed Ponziani to expand its commercial network finding a broad consensus in the European market.
In the 1970s the expansionist philosophy of the Company was further consolidated until the premature and sudden disappearance of Emanuele Ponziani in 1978.
His wife Mariella took over the company, joined shortly after by his sons Simona and Carlo, who still run the company with the same passion and love for family tradition.
Today, that even the fourth generation with Marianna and Emanuele has become part of the company, the values on which the Ponziani family has been building its image and development since 1920 will be shared looking at the future with optimism.
